Of Mice and Middle Seats: The Journey Home

Boston 2026

From wandering Salem's charming streets and iconic filming locations to chasing forgotten history in the woods, this unforgettable day blended spooky legends, great food, local beer, and a few unexpected detours into one memorable adventure.

Between Legends and Letdowns: Salem in a Day

Our first day in Boston was spent following the Freedom Trail, walking through centuries of American history from the Boston Common to the USS Constitution. Though the day ended quietly back at the hotel, the time spent exploring, and simply spending time together as brothers, proved far more meaningful than any planned event.

Every great adventure has an obstacle, and ours came before we ever left the airport. Before our Boston bachelor adventure could begin, Mother Nature and Spirit Airlines threw everything they had at us. Delays, five gate changes, and an eight-hour travel setback made us question if we would ever even get to Boston.

The Trip That Wouldn’t Start

Our final day in Morocco began with our hotel host chasing us down and accusing us of theft, setting the tone for one last chaotic chapter. Yet as we escaped into the Atlas Mountains, the hostility of the cities faded, replaced by breathtaking views and quiet moments of reflection on a journey we would never forget.
